Individual Session
Meet with me for an hour as I help you gain clarity, perspective, direction, and a sense of empowerment in your emotional and spiritual life, as well as introducing tools and practices specifically suited to your situation. I bring to each session my sharp sword of perception, discernment, and problem-solving, while holding each person in the light of sacredness, compassion, and complete non-judgment. $150/hour.

Relationship as Path: Harmony and Growth in Romantic Relationships
Intimate relationships are one of the most potent and compelling parts of a person’s life, a source of great potential richness as well as pains and pitfalls. They touch on some of the most vulnerable parts of ourselves. When all goes well are an opportunity to alchemize past wounding and to give of ourselves in a deep way. At the same time they stir up feelings that can be confusing and overwhelming, making it difficult to discern the healthiest way forward.
I help people build toward relationships of open-hearted trust, intimacy, and mutual giving, in which our fullest being can be seen and encouraged to flourish. Emotional regulation is part of this, but it is not the whole story. Often it is in fact our wounds that have drawn us to our partner, and our wounds are important teachers on the path.
I help people get clarity on the role and nature of their wounding and their partner’s wounding, develop a framework for relating to those woundings in a way that is productive and healing, and teach practices that cultivate the inner resources to bring about this transformation.
Establishing and Propelling Your Spiritual Path
For people who are already on a path but feel like they are hitting a period of stagnancy or are having challenges in their spiritual community, I bring an experiential understanding of the dynamics of the spiritual path as well as a familiarity with a broad range of traditions – their frameworks and practices. I offer help understanding the roots of your challenges and introduce perspectives and approaches that you may not encounter within your customary sphere.
I work flexibly across traditions and translate teachings across frameworks. I have found great value in this cross pollination, and aim to enrich your practice without an agenda about which tradition people are following.
Spiritual Awakening and Spiritual Emergency Support
Sudden or dramatic spiritual experiences are often inspiring and beautiful, but can also be scary and disorienting at the same time. Often, people in your life don’t understand your experience (or you know they won’t understand), making it difficult to get needed perspective from others, thus leaving us to muddle through a particularly confusing situation on our own.
There is nothing inherently wrong with what you are experiencing, but it can be a very delicate situation with potentially serious consequences.
In these situations it is extremely helpful to be able to talk to someone who is intimately familiar with the spirit realms and intense qualities these experiences bring up, but who is also well grounded in practical, material reality, and who knows how to integrate those two sides of life.
My aim in these situations is always to help people find stability and grounding without having to shutdown whatever experience is opening up for them, and to disentangle personal woundings from the genuinely transpersonal.
Thriving in a Wholehearted Life
A fulfilling life is one in which we are living from the heart, bringing forth our wholeness, which serves as a generator of thriving for our environment. Accomplishing this involves balancing a lot of factors – connecting deeply with ourselves, refining our emotional patterns, clearing personal and inter-generational trauma, making realistic assessments of our practical situation, making realistic plans, maintaining long-term follow through, and building and honoring healthy alliances, both material and spiritual.
I work with people, usually on a long-term basis, to bring all these factors into alignment, resolving inner conflicts, gaining clarity about your inner mandala, developing and clear and realistic path to a life in which you are living your values, and developing personal ritual practices which promote growth in all these factors.
Psychedelic Integration
Entheogenic substances have the ability to open our eyes in a variety of ways, but what we see can be so different from what we’re used to that it deeply challenges how we have oriented our lives, both philosophically as well as practically. These substances often open a vast spiritual perspective that doesn’t fit into our regular life and can bring up deep emotional wounds that we may feel unprepared to work with.
A Buddhist teaching that is core to my approach says that all situations are expressions of the awakened mind. Whatever challenges are arising (whether existential terror, fathomless nihilism, or unsustainable divine ecstasies) represent incipient wisdoms that are calling to be uncovered and brought into our lives as source of strength. At the same time, psychedelics can feed and energize ego deceptions while lending these the flavor of certainty and truth. I am direct and unapologetic about calling out the deceptions of the ego, but always with compassionate guidance in healthier ways to work with the underlying needs that are calling out in these experiences.
Developing a Personal Ritual
Ritual is an extremely potent tool. It is nearly a cultural universal that is largely missing from our society (at least in it’s conscious application). In fact, ritual is always at work in our lives and in the world, from propaganda machines banging war drums to the choreographed dances that leads birds to mate. Engaging in ritual provides visceral grounding into our values, heart strength, a deepening sense of the subtle dimensions of our reality, as well as an understanding of the process through which the internal becomes externalized and embodied.
As a long-term student of ritual across many traditions, I can help you craft a ritual to empower your vision and intentions by working with the forces and currents that empower ritual and that ritual empowers.
On-going Mentorship
In every living and functioning traditional path, working closely with a living teacher, guide, or elder is regarded as crucial to anyone undertaking a serious and committed spiritual path. There are many good reasons for this. This is subtle territory and the methods involved can be potent. Lack of guidance can lead to relatively benign outcomes, such as simply ineffectual practice that ultimately peters out, or at the extreme end can indeed lead to psychiatric hospitalization. I’ve seen all of this happen, and everything in-between.
My purpose in mentoring sessions is to help you create a path of spiritual authenticity. My mentorship is a collaborative process which begins with a fundamental respect for your natural inclinations and inner guidance. The core of the mentorship relationship is one in which I hold you with a unshakable faith in your realized nature, reflecting this back to you, lending an outrageous courage as we work together to bring your full heart onto the stage of the world. My specific contributions include pointing you to appropriate practices for your situation, ensuring that you are engaging with practices in a precise way, and helping you recognize and transmute the shadows that on our own we tend not to address.
Ritual Work for Hire
I have seen the power of ritual and spellwork to produce real, outer effects and change. I perform ritual for clients on a for-hire basis. However, while life might be a great cosmic joke, I take ritual quite seriously. In these undertakings I am giving a piece of my heart, my consciousness, and my karma to aid your endeavor. I only undertake ritual work that I feel personal alignment with.
I’m more interested in helping people change the long-term trajectory of their life (empowerment and liberation is the best magic) than in short-term emergency spellwork. However I will consider all undertakings.

In-person / Dark Retreat
I host darkness retreats in which people spend between 3 and 30 days practicing in total darkness. These are supported retreats in which I provide guidance and support as needed. This can include guided meditation, energy work, prayer, spiritual counseling, and trance journeying. For those who wish to retreat with me but don’t wish to be in the dark, that is an option as well.
